Not happy

A rather unnatural colour

A rather unnatural colour

Owner raced out at the crack of dawn to the charity shop and bought me a new friend.  It’s a fluoro lime hedgehog thing and completely hideous. I want Angry bird back.  Not happy at all and after an initial sniff, left the green gremlin under a bush.  If he’s got any sense he’ll run away.

that hedgehog will last a long time then :P… Ruby is hilarious because of your words.

Yes, discarded almost immediately. Maybe it smells strange. She is in such a sulk!

Hey Ruby…. steal a new toy you like from an unsuspecting (preferably a puppy) dog. That is how I scored my current fav orange squeaky car…. except mum finds it really hard to throw it properly! (

That’s not a bad idea. Perhaps could snaffle from a passing pram too…

I get in big trouble for stealing the toddlers toys… Seems this ‘Dora doll’ is a particular fav of hers.

Yes – I’ve come across the Dora doll before – big head and strange eyes. Not my cup of tea at all.

Oh dear me, that looks so familiar. That face! I had to smile but poor Ruby. 🙂 If you have something that’s on Angry Bird that you can sew on Hedgie just so she can get the smell of it, try it. 🙂 It just shows you, they are no less stranger than us. LOL! Or have you tried washing it? Maybe there’s too many smells on it that she doesn’t like. The poor dear. Please give her big hugs and a kiss from me and Simba. 😀

    • rubytheblacklabrador / Jun 20 2013 3:22 pm

Thanks for the hugs – she’s in the doldrums. Maybe you’re right about the smell. Will wash tomorrow and retest!

Thank you – this is my best ‘I’m not happy’ face – not seen often!

Oh dear Ruby well you did murdulate the other one…yep rub it in the old stamky one and maybe beat it up a bit with a fish..:)

Why do these bipeds think that we can transfer our affections so easily? Try burying it in the garden for a while. It looks far too clean to me. I bury my tea sometimes. It tastes much better covered in dirt.

    • rubytheblacklabrador / Jun 20 2013 5:16 pm

Thanks for the tip. She just scurried past it in the garden without a sideways glance. Will have to resmell it.

Poor Ruby, maybe if another dog or person shows interest, she will change her mind.

    • rubytheblacklabrador / Jun 20 2013 5:39 pm

Good idea. Will send the kids outside. Pitiful really – she keeps looking around for the flattened bird and looking expectantly at us. Didn’t realise she was so attached to this particular toy!

    whispering to Ruby —>> “bury it…” 😉

Good idea. Big hole in the middle of the garden. Start a protest movement.
