Eye wide shut

Absolutely shattered after huge run this morning  Hosed and groomed, in my favourite spot, feet curled underneath, not going anywhere.  Just grunted a big gruff sigh which means sleep time but one eye is open in case of attack and a spirited defence of the castle is required.

Sweet dreams, Ruby! Heather and Mr. K can keep watch while you ready. Much love, The Scottie Mom.

😀 Sometimes, it may be better to just drift off and ignore the world a little bit 😛 Although right now I can feel two little eyes staring at the side of my head… hah!

    • rubytheblacklabrador / Aug 6 2013 7:29 pm

Hah – I get that too and I can hear the tail wagging on the floor. Avoid eye contact at all costs otherwise you’ll have to get up and play with her!

Don’t forget to keep an eye open for any bits of food your person drops that you may need to hoover up. It’s a tough job… but some dog’s got to do it 😉

Am always front and centre any time anyone goes in the kitchen area. I am barred from this with a child gate but it doesn’t stop me from sneaking past on occasion 🙂

    Ruby is one tired baby.

I know! It was 24 degrees here today (it’s supposed to be winter) but a westerly was blowing and all the dogs were tired and thirsty and still in their winter coats…We barely managed to make it home – had to put her on the lead and drag her all the way from the park (far too heavy to carry!) 🙂
