The tongue test

Am finding my tongue is starting to hang out a lot again.  This means spring may be nearly here and then it’s only a couple of weeks before the humidity hits and – bang! – it’s summer in Sydney.  More tongue hanging out, slinking along in the shade and flopping in desperation in puddles.  Good news the sprinklers will be switched on again soon…yipee!

You are waiting for spring, I’m waiting for fall – that’s crazy :o)

Your spring is on the way and we’re getting close to fall and cooler temps. The dogs will be happy.

Yes – always a nightmare in summer. Up even earlier for a walk and then a later walk at night. Dogs find it hard to catch a breeze or a cool spot to lie. Fortunately we live near the beach 🙂

Funny thing mum noticed on Sunday during our long run/ride was the angle my tongue hung out at vs the Aussie shepherd in front of us… Mine more angled to the side while hers was perfectly in front… Maybe a female thing?
If you want to see funny tongue…… Start at photo 357 if the link doesn’t take you straight there and click quickly forward… Laugh at mum’s tongue… She must have been hot too!

Great action shots and I can see what you mean about the tongues! Best to have it out the side I think 🙂

The same here with Simba. He just had a bath and didn’t want me to blow-wave him dry, so that means he also knows Spring is almost here. Enjoy the sprinkler Ruby and you are always more than welcome to come and jump into the swimming pool here. 😀 *big hugs*

Mama’s waiting for the summer heat to kick in here, but me and Nalle are quite happy with the way it’s been. Wooooowoooooo, Ku

yay – love the cool weather – I’m much more active. Today was a bit cooler but the temps are rising…

We are wrapping up summer soon here. Mr. K will miss laying out in the hot sun. He hadn’t been introduced to the sprinklers yet but I’m sure he will like them as much as you do. Much love, The Scottie Mom.

We love sprinklers for running in and trying to drink the water. They are banned for residential use here (water shortages) but they have enormous ones in the park. Only problem is they use recycled water which is pretty smelly!

And we are headed to Fall and soon will be snow…glorious snow.

Wow snow would be great – lots of jumping and running through it. I guess you still train the dogs in it? Bury the ducks? Do the ponds ice over?
