Thirsty work

IMG_1845

Met the ranger this morning to show him where the dead cat is.  Happy to help out.  Apparently it’s been the bane of dog parents everywhere and conversations revolve around how to get rid of THAT smell.  Sad to see it being hoisted into a bin liner and taken off.  Was probably a great friend to someone.

Oh my you do look thirsty, and glad you are scoring points with the ranger. I’m sure that will come in handy sometime :P…. are you still stinky? Does vinegar help you think? I mix it with water and use that all the time on the floors when Donna pee or poo at home… and sometimes on her, with a little bit of nice smelling essential oil, when she starts to smell funky 😛

Forgot to add I also bought special de-smelling shampoo at the pet shop. We use tomorrow. She seems to have lots of dog but no human friends at the moment!

Well done Ruby and what a great photo of you! 😀 A pity about the poor kitty indeed. I still wonder why cats do love to roam like that. Not a good thing at all.

Poor thing is in a better place now. Think it just got way lost in the middle of the park and was killed by a fox…

I feel bad for the kitty but I’m glad you helped out that ranger, that was very nice of you!

Yes – I felt it was the right thing for me and other dog walkers (ie. no more smelly dogs) and the poor cat too. It had a tag attached and the ranger will call to inform the owner…

Sorry for the kitty, I’m glad you could help Mr. Ranger.

Yes poor thing but glad it has been given a more dignified end that being eaten or rolled in some more.

Oh dear then it was someone’s cat and not a stray. Sad either way. Cats are great wouldn’t you agree Ruby? Do you have any cat friends?

    it is really sad

    • rubytheblacklabrador / Aug 22 2013 11:14 am

yes – poor thing but it had a collar and tag so hopefully the ranger notified the owners…
