Resting my head

IMG_2138

The sun is rising earlier each day so I’ve been awake for ages by the time my family finally gets up. At walk time (6.30am!!) I’m already exhausted and ready to go back to bed. Roll on daylight savings. Yawn yawn.

I should have thought you would be raring to go by the time your family wakes up! 😀

And here in South Carolina the sun is rising a little later every morning. I wish Ducky would sleep a little later, too! Oh well, that’s okay — I need to get up with her anyway. 😉

Yes that’s how I feel but it’s gettinge earlier every day! Only 2 weeks to go and then we put the clocks forward:)

Why aren’t you waking them earlier? I jump on the bed and lay on mum’s bladder.

I’m locked in downstairs with child gates. All I can do is whine…no jumping on beds for me:)

Child gates were briefly trailed here… And done away with. The laundry door still shows the battle scars of the early attempt of locking me in the laundry… Silly.

I’m really scared of them becasue they crash down when they slide on the floor and make a bad noise. I stay right away unless they are open a bit and then I sneak in to the kitchen and snaffle anything I can find:)

LOL! You always make me smile Ruby. Great shot of you. Love it! 😀 *big hugs*

Thanks – an opening position at the bottom of the stairs when people are ignoring me:)

      • Sonel / Sep 20 2013 4:18 pm

        LOL!

That sounds just like my kids! Up at 5:00 a.m., and ready for a nap when it’s time to walk out the door for school. Sigh.

What? Your family want’s to stay in bed at 6:30 AM? That’s exactly the time when the best smells are in the air :o)

    • rubytheblacklabrador / Sep 20 2013 2:08 pm

I know I know. I keep telling them but they saty inder the covered!

    • rubytheblacklabrador / Sep 20 2013 2:08 pm

I know I know. They just stay under the covers trying to catch a few more minutes sleep…

My dogs feel the same way. They have to wait until evening for their walk.

    • rubytheblacklabrador / Sep 20 2013 2:09 pm

Ahhh. Ruby is a lucky dog then. She also gets an evening potter round the street – a sniff walk 🙂

    • rubytheblacklabrador / Sep 20 2013 2:10 pm

Thank you. Although I was lucky today and got out earlier…persistent howling helps get the message across:)
