World vegetarian food day

IMG_1962

In honour of world vegetarian food day today (and in support of my veggie family) I chose not to eat:

  • The severed head of a dead bat lying in the bushes
  • A large dead possum with its guts spilling out on a grassy slope
  • A small squished lizard in the garden
  • A small mouse pancake half under a car tyre in the gutter outside our house

Easy to exercise restraint when needed!

Yes obviously she has no idea of the significance of the day. Maybe she’s losing interest. Better not speak too soon!

You could resist that mouse pancake? REALLY? Wow! I had carrots and rice with my chicken today, that’s enough to worship the veggie food day hahahaha

I know I was well behaved yesterday. Like mice – they slip down like a treat:)

Well done, Ruby. Max didn’t eat the unidentifiable carcass in the field – but he did have a roll in it before I hauled him away!

Well done Ruby, though it sounds like you live in a charnel house! Been veggie for over 2 decades and still miss bacon sarnies …

Aaaah, good for you Ruby! Now I want bacon. 😆
