Hope owners appreciated that walks with the wonderful Ruby mean they see sites like this :o) Mum really missed her walk or run this morning…. after my sore leg incident yesterday she thought it better to have me rest and she wouldn’t dare leave the house for a run without me!

Thanks – shocking day here. Really bad. Mum and dad raced home from their blue mountains mini trip with the fire at their tail. They were badly shaken when they got home early evening.
Ye Ruby it has been and still is an awful thing that’s happening up there.we hope no lives are lost and it brings back Black Saturday and Ash Wednesday all over again..we dread this summer even though it has been wet and cold here we know grass fires will be a problem..please stay safe and we hope everyone takes great care. xxx

It was but there was an extremely strong smell of burning trees and ash everywhere.
