I like driving in my car

Don’t know why I’m made to walk everywhere – the car is the place to be. Things rush by, the wind pins back my ears and the air is a different type of pungent. Went to a garden centre today. Was feted and petted, given a plate of bacon in the cafe and managed to gobble down some horse manure as we left. Excellent day out.

Bacon and horse manure, that must have been a tasty combo!

Yes, an excellent day, Ruby. Maybe the bacon in your stomach will get bigger when you push him with horse manure? It’s worth a try, I think. Please keep me informed :o)

Bacon… what a lucky day for you!

I’m not fond of the 4-wheeled monster. It makes me sick although not as much as it used to. I love the places the monster takes us though 🙂

That’s why I sit on the back seat now with my head hanging out. In the boot is no good at all:)

Ruby, are you wearing an auto harness for safety?

    • rubytheblacklabrador / Nov 3 2013 2:22 pm

Yes of course I am! It’s attached from my collar and clips into the seat belt clasp:)

What a great day out Ruby…. bacon… hmmmm
(ps the harness that goes around the body is a bit safer. Having attached to the collar can all go horribly wrong if there is an accident or sudden need to break hard… just looking after you lovely girl).

Thanks for the tip – am usually in the boot with the cage behind so normally ok. Short trips on windy roads I get sick so often sit in the back…

I’m normally in the back too… Not really a fan of the harness but get why I need it if I travel in the backseat.
Not good on the carsick front.

Boomer and Dottie love c-a-r-r-i-d-e-s too… I can’t even say it out loud or they will go nuts!

I guess it’s new everything plus the speed. I don’t like to drive at all which is why we walk – everywhere!
