Where’s my dinner?
I know I ate the entire contents of the garbage bin today but it was your fault. You left it out on the balcony after you threw away a whole meal (for four) of burnt bean nachos. Thought I’d help get rid of the evidence before the family got home. I know I ate about twenty pizza crusts and other assorted bits of rubbish too but I want my dinner and I want it now.

No we haven’t given in. To bed with no dinner. She’s not happy though!
What a pitiful face. Labs have a bottomless pit for a stomach.
Hopeless isn’t she? Puppy dog eyes and whining tonight but we haven’t given in. No dinner!
Burnt bean nachos and 20 pizza crusts are perfect – but that’s just an “amuse gueule” and there is enough room for dinner :o)
Oh no. We are resolved. No dinner will pass Ruby’s lips tonight. She is sulking but she had three days worth of food today!

Feel the pain Ruby… My rations being managed with the restricted exercise. Not happy!
It’s just terrible being on restricted rations. No point at all. Will have to find a possum this morning.

Look at that face! That’s why some Labs get so fat! Not that I’m saying Ruby is fat… She’s beautiful. We have to work hard to maintain Mollie’s waistline!
We do too. Just far too much supplementary feeding. Long afternoon walk and half breakfast. Problem is if she’s hungry I’m sure she’ll sniff out a possum!
Yes we end up reducing her dinners when she has some pavement snacks!
Always best to keep things under control!
Completely logical, we’d say. Suppertime is, after all, suppertime.
